Protective foil (top)

Keyboards with short-travel switches are protected by a foil with the printed layout, which is glued on top of the metal mask. The foil is made of high-quality textured polyester film and em-bossed with a screen-printed polyester film. It is resistant to chemicals, abrasions and scratches and has a long flex life.

Thickness: 150µm ± 10%
Switch life: 5x106 flexes (typical)
Tensile strength: 160-250 MPa
